What to expect

At Stony Point Doodles, we believe welcoming a puppy into your family should be an exciting and transparent experience. Our pricing and reservation process is designed to help families understand exactly what to expect.

Pricing

Puppy pricing

Pricing is announced when each litter is born. The purchase price for each puppy will be posted with the litter information, along with any available reservation options.

Our puppies are raised in our home with love, attention, veterinary care, and early socialization. Each puppy goes home with our One Year Healthy Puppy Guarantee, health records, and starter supplies to help make the transition to their new family easier.

Deposits

Reserving your puppy

A $500 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Your deposit is applied toward the final purchase price.

Deposits are nonrefundable once your reservation is confirmed. If you need to postpone your puppy purchase, your deposit may be transferred to a future litter, subject to availability and our reservation terms.

Deposits are collected after puppies are born and your application has been approved.

Early selection

Premium Pick puppies

For families who would like an earlier opportunity to select their puppy, we offer a limited number of Premium Pick positions for an additional fee.

The Premium Pick fee is separate from the puppy purchase price and is paid in addition to the $500 reservation deposit. Premium Pick fees and deposits are not collected until the litter is born.

Premium Pick positions determine the order in which families select their puppies. Puppy selection will take place at the age announced for the litter, allowing families time to receive updates and learn more about the puppies as they grow.

Stony Point Doodles reserves the right to retain a puppy for our breeding program. Premium Pick positions apply to the puppies available for placement.

Timeline

Payment schedule

  1. Reservation deposit

    A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and secure a spot on our selection list. The deposit is applied toward the purchase price.

  2. Premium Pick payment

    If you would like to have premium selection, that payment is due at the time of reservation.

  3. Final balance

    Final payment is due two weeks before your puppy is scheduled to go home. We will send your final invoice approximately two weeks before your pickup date. The remaining balance is due in full at that time. Payment can be made via ACH, Zelle, cash, check, or wire transfer.

If your puppy is being transported, payment by check may be arranged in advance. All check payments must clear before the puppy leaves our care.
